Recovery

Help for Depression

"I used to feel so full of life. Motivated. Ready for anything." I hear that often from people struggling with depression. It’s not that they’re lazy or broken—they’re just tired in a way that rest alone can’t fix. Even simple things like getting out of bed, taking a shower, or making a meal can start to feel like monumental tasks. We’ve all had our down days, but depression makes those days linger. It’s like a weight that slowly builds over time, making it harder and harder to move through the world in the way you used to.

You may not fully believe change is possible yet. Part of you might fear this is just how things will always be. But if you're reading this, something in you is still reaching for more—and that matters. That’s a starting point. In our work together, we’ll take time to understand what depression looks and feels like for you, explore where it may have come from, and begin the process of reconnecting you to the parts of yourself that still want healing, peace, and purpose. You may not see it right now, but you already have the strength to begin again—and I’d be honored to walk with you as you do.

"Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means it no longer controls your life."

Awareness

Help for Anxiety

Anxiety is something we all experience—it’s a natural stress response and sometimes, it can even be helpful. It alerts us to pay attention, to prepare, or to protect ourselves. When people ask me where anxiety comes from, I usually respond with, “How do you know you’re anxious?” That simple question often opens the door to self-awareness. It helps us understand what anxiety feels like in the body or how it shows up in the mind, which becomes the starting point for working with it more intentionally.

Some people feel it in their gut, others in their chest, shoulders, or hands. Sometimes it shows up in thoughts, in how we’re interpreting a situation or doubting ourselves. Often, anxiety is tied to a sense of imbalance—something inside us needing attention or reassurance. When we begin to see anxiety not just as something negative, but as a messenger, we can use it as a tool for growth and grounding. The more we understand how it starts for us personally, the more we can manage it with clarity instead of fear.

Supporting Life’s Other Challenges

In addition to helping with anxiety and depression, I also work with individuals facing challenges like ADD/ADHD, anger, PTSD, men’s issues, and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone’s story is different, and no matter what you’re carrying, you deserve a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Together, we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface and work toward the kind of clarity, balance, and healing you’re looking for.
